SALVATION

The mystery of God that is now revealed, a plan conceived before the foundations of the world, a transition from death to life, a message especially for sinners, a gift of grace through faith.

…Salvation is given to all who, in faith, receive the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior and are born again by the Holy Spirit – thus becoming children of God.  Salvation involves redemption, regeneration, sanctification and glorification.  Ephesians 1:7; Romans 10:9-10, 5:7-11; Colossians 1:13-14, 21-22; John 17:16-22; II Corinthians 5:17; I Corinthians 6:19

…Eternal Security is extended to all redeemed believers.  Salvation is not only a gift from God – He sustains it as well.  Salvation is wholly of the Lord, apart from the works of man.  The Holy Spirit permanently dwells in the believer and seals him in salvation for all eternity.  Therefore, the believer shall be kept by the power of God through faith.  John 3:16, 10:27-29, 14:16-17, 26; Ephesians 1:13; 2:8-9; Philippians 1:6; I Peter 1:5; Jude 24-25
