Struggling with Celibacy/Where is my Husband ?

  • Your love for God has to be greater than the lack of control you have in your flesh.

  • Your heart can only be used by God when it is completely submitted to the will of God.

  • Fall in love with yourself first; You will only have the capacity to do for others what you can do for yourself.

  • Take the time to heal before God sends your husband.

  • Pray and ask God to purify you & sanctify your flesh.

Dealing with being the savior of your family & you can’t save yourself

  • The humanity side of us is fulfilled when we help others.

  • You’re not helping others, you’re rescuing them from themselves.

  • There is only one savior, that is Jesus, but he will use you to help others.

  • Find someone that can help you!

  • Identify what you need (therapy, friends, self care time)

  • Pursue what you need and submit to what you need (trust the person who was sent to help you)

How do you forgive yourself after you cheated on your spouse ?

  • Assess yourself, why did I do what I did? Do not blame him or her. Do the work within yourself. Put yourself in the other persons shoes.

  • Deal with you insecurities; Learn Maturity.

  • You will never be able to forgive yourself until you really take the blame on as to the pain you caused. Once you take ownership of the pain, then you can move on.

  • Repent in secret and/or in public if necessary.

  • If you don’t forgive yourself you will keep that door open and you will continue that cycle.
